Carfree in Los Angeles
Heard on NPR this morning (you can listen free here). Chris Balish went from Toyota Sequoia to carfree in L.A. and is writing a book about the experience. I enjoyed his positive approach, and he had some good advice for those considering.

I found this online (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1580087574/ref=sr_11_1/103-7575937-3571836?ie=UTF8) a few days ago. I will be picking up a copy. I'm not car free yet, but mine sits for more than a week at a time, and I will be car free by spring.
